In 1986, Reedy Morris Insurance established a specialized insurance program for water and sewer utilities.  Initially the program was in place only for Alabama, but since then has been expanded to include Tennessee.  We currently provide insurance coverages for over 150 utilities in these two states.

We use as our primary market the American Alternative Insurance Corporation.  As a member of the Munich Re America Corporation, AAIC carries a Best rating of A-XV (Excellent).  We offer property, general liability, management liability, crime, automobile, and excess liability coverages through American Alternative.  All our liability coverages are provided on an occurrence form.  We presently hold the exclusive AAIC marketing rights in Alabama for utilities.

In addition, we have access to several markets for workmen compensation insurance on utilities, including Companion Property & Casualty and National Liability & Fire.
